In this 2-day course you will learn how to use radios for short- and long-range communication using VHF, UHF, and HF radio systems. With both lecture and practical components, you will be able to competently and effectively utilize comms in handheld, on-body/wearable, vehicle, and stationary radio contexts. No previous knowledge or experience is required.

Clothes and footwear appropriate for all possible weather conditions. The class has both indoor and outdoor components.
Any radio gear you own and wish to test or use. We provide radios and other equipment.
Other details:
Lunch provided Thursday ($30 to $40 value).
Students will take home a VHF/UHF radio and accessories that they use throughout the class ($129 value).
